Loving your well intentioned sarcasm! Mental note to self: revert to "over the moon". Actually, I do use it in conversation as do lots of others, as for example in "delighted to meet you" as a polite response to new people. "Pleased to meet you" is damning with faint interest and "good to meet you" is an horrific Americanism. In the meantime, let's both get a life!!!
